Fountain, Baku

A project conceptualized by Inter Art Etude in Paris to embellish the old city of Azerbaijan’s capital.

Treatments:
The monumental fountain with load-bearing columns, classical arches, paved surfaces, and numerous balustrades in Bianco Carrara, Imperial Green and Green Antigua required preliminary engineering to stabilize the particular terrain of Piazza Rostropovich, across from the city’s medieval walls.
